BearCAD

Local-first, parametric CAD. Built by robots.

Nothing to install — it runs right in the tab.
BearCAD editing the Quickstart's 120-degree bracket: rounded bend, countersunk screw holes

The Quickstart bracket — sketched freehand, squared up by the constraint solver, rebuilt from parameters.

Quickstart

Build a real part in about ten minutes: sketch a bracket freehand, square it up with constraints, drive the bend angle with a parameter, and export it for 3D printing.

Modeling Tools

Tool-by-tool reference for Select, Sketch, Rectangle, Line, Circle, Fillet, Chamfer, Construction Plane, Extrude, Revolve, Combine, Move, Dimension, and Constraint — plus the drawing workbench's tools and navigation.

Scripting

Drive BearCAD from Lua: declarative bearcad.* modeling and the bearcad.ui.* interaction namespace. The same action layer powers the GUI, the command palette, and scripts — anything you can click, you can script.
